Why we built Rhett

Rhett is built by Drividend. The premise is simple: you should only have to explain your insurance situation once — and someone (or something) should do the repetitive shopping work for you.

The promise

Give Rhett your current auto policy. Rhett does the shopping for you. Rhett collects your insurance information once, requests competing quotes from insurers, communicates with them on your behalf, collects and normalizes the responses, and shows you the factual differences between quotes — so you can make the final insurance decision with real information.

What Rhett is not

Rhett does not sell insurance or take commissions. Rhett does not recommend coverage, bind insurance, or make insurance decisions for you. Rhett is an insurance-shopping assistant: it does the legwork and lays out the facts. The decision — and the policy — remain yours.

Privacy is part of the product

Rhett is part of Drividend, which is built around the principle that your driving data belongs to you. Insurers never receive your personal phone number by default, and Drividend never shares raw driving location or trip history with insurance carriers or agencies. Where driving findings are used at all, they are privacy-preserving summaries you authorize — like verified annual mileage.
